College Choir Celebrates 20th Year at April 14 Event
For 20 years, the Saint Anselm College Choir, directed by Fr. Bede Camera, O.S.B., has filled the Abbey Church with sacred music. Each year, 70-100 students sing at Sunday Evening Mass, feast days, and special occasions such as Family Weekend masses and the Baccalaureate Mass, and two concerts a year.
Come celebrate with choir on Saturday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Abbey Church. Many alumni from as far back as the Class of 1990 are coming back for the celebration. If all goes as planned, you'll hear the college Anthem and "I Love You, Lord" sung by a choir of about 150 voices!
There will be many surprises during this evening, which culminates with the Hallelujah Chorus. Admission is free, but the church fills up quickly, so it is a good idea to arrive early. For more information, visit www.anselm.edu/abbey/choir.
