I’m Within Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon

Tonight, I had the opportunity to meet Viggo Mortensen, an avid supporter for Dennis Kucinich and the famous Aragorn from The Lord of the Rings films.

I didn’t meet him once, I met him twice. Somewhat star-struck, I found myself in the midst of a gentleman I had often loved from afar, on my couch watching his movies. It was a definite highlight of my day when he rushed in on horseback crying out for Frodo Baggins.

Ok, that’s not exactly how it happened. Yet, it was still an absolute thrill to meet such an accomplished actor, and to realize that I really am within six degrees of Kevin Bacon. Viggo Mortensen was in A History of Violence with Ed Harris and Ed Harris was in Apollo 13 with Kevin Bacon.
